Build a social media system, not a content calendar
Calendars produce output. Systems produce compounding attention. The difference is where the ideas come from.

The calendar trap
A calendar answers 'what posts on Tuesday'. It never answers 'why would anyone care'. Teams that start with slots end up filling them with whatever is nearest.
Three pillars and a capture habit
Pick three pillars you can credibly own, then build a capture habit — every client call, support ticket and internal debate is raw material. The system's job is to turn raw material into posts, not to invent ideas on demand.
- Pillar 1: proof — what you've built and what happened
- Pillar 2: point of view — what you believe that others don't
- Pillar 3: practical — the thing a reader can use today
Cadence and review
Publish at a cadence you can sustain in a bad month, review monthly against saves and replies rather than impressions, and retire pillars that don't earn conversation after a full quarter.
